TAG TRIBUNES INITATIVE
CHAMPIONS OF THE PEOPLE

TAG Tribunes (Champions of the People) Initiative
The TAG Tribunes initiative is an homage to Delores Troupe Mays, organic Black leadership. Black people are visionary and adept in exercising resiliency, innovativeness, creativity, and swag and have equity in representing their own best interest. TAG believes the gross disparity of Blacks that do not excel is vastly due to systemic racism. Marginalized Black individuals are not on the planning and strategy committees about them/for them. TAG’s nurtures Black community’s empowerment of their chosen leaders. TAG partners with BIPOC neighborhood leaders, block unit captains and community volunteers.
These leaders expand into the nuances of BIPOC and intimately know their community’s culture, subculture and counterculture’s needs. These leaders are best suited to organically develop sustainable Black leadership as they enact door to door communications overcoming trust barriers and the technology divide. TAG’s partnership increases their capacity and efficiency. Black community leaders provide real time needs assessments of individuals while evolving as model leaders. Black leaders gain momentum to support their communities negating the effects of structural obstacles.
Together we TAG into developing Black leaders to pass the baton while fulfilling the community’s needs. TAG’s provides tailored leadership curriculum and viable resources to include mentoring and grants for; software licensing, computer hardware, state identification, credentials, driver’s license, transportation fees, branding, marketing, supplies, conferences, memberships, and legal fees.
