TAG’S GREATEST ASSET

“My true passion was ignited by my mom. She was so communal and our house was always open to everyone. Her family was her life, but she made her family so huge by being so inclusive and inviting.”

Kayla believes her greatest contribution to BIPOC communities is her assembly of TAG’s diverse Board of Directors (70% BIPOC)

INSPIRATION FOR TAG

“My true passion was ignited by my mom. She was so communal and our house was always open to everyone. Her family was her life, but she made her family so huge by being so inclusive and inviting.”

“My mother was a prime example of someone who, in some regards, had limited personal resources but helped masses. My mother would come to her family, to her children, and say ‘I need this because I need to help someone.” Her life spoke to her commitment to our people. She changed lives!

Though my mom didn’t have much, she was able to channel resources that were outside of her own. So many do not have any such resources and, in some instances, they suffer because of their charity. I want to celebrate and elevate the work of people like my mom. This is the momentum I want to push out, to help more people become a positive contributor to our communities.”

“OUR MISSION IS THAT PEOPLE MATTER. OUR CALLING IS TO HELP THE CULTURE REFLECT THAT WE ALL BRING SOMETHING TO THE TABLE AND WE ALL HAVE VALUE.”
